SIGN UP TO HELP AT HOME MEETS!

Volunteering at Home Swim Meets is a requirement of being part of the team. Please take this seriously and have multiple people ready and trained on how they can help. Often, we need more than just one person from each family to make this happen.

Sign Ups will be posted soon! For now, please get familiar with what you’d like to do.

• Meet Set Up - Required to arrive 1 hour early to set up the deck. Requires some lifting.

• Announcer - Must like to hear yourself in the microphone over speakers. Nice shading spot and we give you the script “1st call for event 4”.

• Clerk of Course & Kid Wranglers - Puts kids into placement and ready for their swim. Requires patience and a loud voice. *Head Clerk of Course requires previous experience please.

• Awards Table - Print labels to be placed on ribbons during the meet. Great viewpoint of the pool, chairs, and shade!

• Placers - Front row seats to the starting block but must be able to make note of each lane’s order at the finish line.

• Timers - Two per lane, record the finish time. Must NOT get distracted easily!

• Stroke & Turn Judge - Two required for home and away meets. Basic knowledge of stroke technique required—specific training will be provided.

• Scorekeeper - Requires training/previous experience preferred. Talk to Kayla or Becky if interested.

• Starter - Requires training/previous experience preferred. Possibly the most important person on the deck—they start the races and keep us on track.
